In 2022, I contributed to several “post-advertising” campaigns executed for Eventbrite by a small team at
Imprint Projects.
This set of projects centered on Eventbrite’s Reconvene, a global community platform supporting event creators. Launched in 2021, in the midst of the early pandemic, Reconvene offers valuable resources, from educational programming to an accelerator program for emerging creators.
Responsibilities varied depending on the project, from copywriting and crafting language for digital and print materials, to scripting and storyboarding for video content.
︎︎︎ Reconvene Accelerator
The Reconvene Accelerator provides direct support to emerging creators to launch and grow their dream events. Winners received $10K in funding and mentorship from industry leaders in music, wellness, and food & beverage.
For the campaign around the accelerator’s inaugural cycle, I developed language and wrote copy for all digital/social assets. I also collaborated with video producers and editors to script video pieces raising awareness for the program and documenting winners’ journeys as their events came to life.
︎︎︎ Reconvene Summit
For the second annual Reconvene Summit, my team at Imprint brought together event creators from around the globe to share knowledge on creating impactful experiences and growing thriving businesses. With keynotes from Priya Parker and Seth Godin, talks focused on how to create impactful experiences and grow thriving businesses through branding, partnerships, and community building.
For the Summit project, I served as in-house copywriter, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to script video content, and develop language to market the event across a wide variety of digital assets.
︎︎︎ Born This Way Foundation Re.Mixer Festival
In 2022, Eventbrite announced a major, multi-year commitment to help relieve the epidemic of social isolation among young people through research, policy work, partnerships with nonprofits, and programs to support social connection.
To kickstart this work, they teamed up with Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation and engaged Imprint Projects to launch a series of live events alongside Lady Gaga’s Chromatica Ball Tour that destigmatize mental health challenges and foster connection. Together we created Re.Mixer, a new daytime festival with events in New York and Los Angeles. The series enlisted artists, local nonprofits and Eventbrite creators to curate a series of workshops, talks, and mental health resources that promote collective wellness and joy.
For Re.Mixer, I helped develop language to frame the project, wrote copy for digital marketing assets, and developed scripts and storyboards for video content capturing the events, and highlighting event creators and attendees.
