Since 2019, I’ve served as a Creative Producer on projects by the artist, archivist and filmmaker Adrian Burrell. Born and raised in Oakland, Adrian uses photography, film, and site-specific installation to examine issues of race, class, gender, and intergenerational dynamics.
As a producer, I’ve helped conceptualize Adrian’s multimedia exhibition work, including his 2020 solo presentation at SFMOMA, It’s the End of the World, Don’t You Know That Yet? For film projects, I serve as a Creative Producer, providing development support for films from concept, to set, to the editing room.
In 2021, I served as a producer on Adrian’s experimental film The Game God(S), released via The New Yorker Documentary in 2022. The film debuted at BlackStar Film Festival, where it won the jury prize for Best Short Documentary.
